The password will be changed on a regular basis. The password can be obtained from the Front Office. Annual residents using the WiFi are in violation of the Resort's rules. The WiFi will get progressively slower as more unauthorized people are added to the tower. RV'ers: Please DO NOT share the password. Annual Residents: Please DO NOT steal WiFi.

Severe Storm Preparation and Instructions

Things to Do In the Event of a Storm:

The Gold Canyon Fire Department does not have a warning siren.

In the event there is a severe storm warning for this area and you need to take shelter away from your Park Model or RV there are 2 options:

downstairs of the Clubhouse by the mailboxes”
or
downstairs of the Clubhouse by the Showers/Restrooms”

The downstairs Showers/Restrooms are located at the far end of the building by the shuffleboard courts. Position yourself inside the room as far back as possible for the best protection.

If you can not make it to the building go to the nearest ditch and lay flat. Take a tarp, blanket or something to cover yourself.

Watch out for your neighbor. Each block should have a plan to help one another.

Watch out for flying debris; it is very dangerous!

Make sure all outside objects
are secured or put in a shed.

Examples:
Trash Cans
Bar Q Grills
Tables & Chairs
Outside Decorative items

Other Things to Do:
RV awnings must be up
Your Park model awnings should be checked to make sure they are secure
Valuables such as medicine and important papers should be kept in a bag that you can carry with you
Buy an emergency radio
Buy a flashlight
Have extra batteries on-hand
Have 12 hour light sticks
Have some candy
Make sure you have water bottles
Have a plan to take care of your pets

Notice to Pet Owners

Just a reminder to all our pet owners.

Empty sites are not to be used as pet relief areas.  The resort has provided a nice enclosed recreation area so your pets can run free and enjoy the company of others.  This enclosed area provides doggie bags, a lined trash can for disposal of droppings, employees to mow and water the grass and empty the trash.  It is the responsibility of pet owners to pick up after their pet no matter where the deposit is made, and that includes the pet run.  Employees are not here to pick up after your pet.

We enjoy having pets in the resort, they bring joy and smiles to even our non pet owners as long as we don't have to deal with their deposits.   :)
